milan design week 2017: for this year’s milan design week, diesel living presents their 2017 collection following the ‘desert modernism’ theme. made of materials like wood, stone and metal, the resulting pieces compose strong interiors and resistant exteriors that showcase a nature-inspired functional maximalism. with their distinctively freewheeling approach to design, diesel infuses their latest products with unexpected and ironic influences that shape an aesthetic where classic and experimental styles pair up to create something entirely new.

throughout an unbounded exploration of iconography, diesel living reflects their 2017 landscape: a mix of industrial styles, dark and adrenalised rock & roll spirit and the bright-toned, mischievous glee of pop. a vintage air tones the whole collection while the textures and surfaces communicate the rebellious side of the brand. the ‘diesel living 2017 collection’ exhibits furniture, lighting, objects, kitchens and bathrooms, as well as floor and wall coverings, and home textiles.

the textile feature desert-inspired patterns

launched in 2008, diesel living started as an assortment of textiles that organically evolved from their previous fashion experience. the collection continues to grow every year while it collaborates with with leading players in the interior design field like moroso, forscarini, scavolini, and seletti amongst others.
