chinese firm daz architects designed the ‘utopian bookstore’ in shenzen, china. the bookstore that also includes a cafe was designed to stand out from its surroundings. using materials such as resin, stainless steel mirrors and fluorescent tubes the design generates a continuous and discontinuous relation between the outside and inside of the store.
