lady speed triumph custom motorcycle by macco motors

spain-based motorcycle manufacturer macco motors are admirers of the good taste and refinement found in bike brands like triumph, ducati and bmw among others. influenced by this retro aesthetic, it customizes a triumph ‘thruxton’ into this elegant motorcycle named ‘lady speed’ for a client from norway.

macco motors stripped down the 2007 triumph and began building a custom fiberglass tail section with a diamond-stitched brown leather saddle, mounted to ‘lady speed’s’ re-constructed subframe. the motorcycle’s ignition was also relocated in order to make room for a yellow bates-style headlight, complemented by a minimalist speedometer and brown biltwell ‘thruster’ grips.

the ‘lady speed’ now offers a firmer ride thanks to a set of hagon ‘progressive springs’ and ‘nitro shocks’. a dunlop ‘F20’ tire at the front, and a metzeler tourance tire at the rear wrap around its black powder coated stainless-spoked rims. adding to the bikes timeless aesthetic, its owner requested for it to be painted the same matte green he’d seen on a morgan three-wheeled car.
