snarkitecture fills miami's KITH store with replicas of nike air jordans

establish in 2011, KITH is a multifunctional lifestyle brand who has partnered with new york-based experimental practice snarkitecture, generating a strong relationship that has resulted not only in the design of the stores, but in the overall brand identity of the sneakers seller. opened during miami art week 2016, KITH miami is the latest flagship store designed by the studio—and first one outside new york— aiming to push the boundaries to deliver customers a completely unique shopping experience, including KITH treats, their culinary extension focused on cereal and ice cream.

KITH’s miami store — like all the other KITH stores — has the running motif that is instantly noticeable upon entering the gallery-like outposts. featuring arches of 500 cast jordan V sneakers —a signature detail for the brand across all stores— the chosen model signifies the fifth store locale. the interior has been crafted with custom terrazzo panels that form a gradient from white to blue with the idea of adding a miami flavor to the space. the shop showcases a plethora of designer apparel brands, an elite assortment of footwear and the in-house label.

‘miami has always been like a second home to me, and it’s been an important step I’ve wanted the brand to take since our first pop-up there in 2013,’ comments KITH’s founder and creative director ronnie fieg. ‘this will be our most elevated store design to date, and I believe that we have something to offer to the miami customer that no other retailer can.’
