In personal spaces, light might be controlled by our own and prefered sense, but outside, like in public spaces, there is a limitation.
We want to hold the piece of light and take it everywhere: the light ´L;im´- Light in movement, harmonizes with us in every given situation, and encourages to use it with individual sense and emotions. L;im is simple to handle and it moves with the needs of its users.
It combines the material paper - which was already long in use in the past - with cutting-edge pioneering technology. Thin and light, using OLED the considered lighting of the future, L;im is using the properties of the organic light emitting diode and optimizes them. The integrated magnet technology enables the shape modification of the light, based on the principle of origami folding. Power is supplied by means of a foldable and extremely thin battery. In order to turn the light off and on, touch sensors are installed at each corner of L;im. L;im is moving, but also staying with us in a simple, forward-looking and environmentally-friendly way.
