sinroja BMW R3 café racer custom motorcycle

the ‘R3’ was an exciting build for the sinjora brothers as they were creating a motorcycle completely different to what their workshop had been previously used to. the idea behind ‘R3’ was to build a beast of a bike with modern sports bike styling with touch of class–they have pulled it off. the custom workshop gives it a mean stance showing it’s ready to take on the road. it boasts a wide front end using bespoke machined yokes fitted onto refurbished ‘R1’ USD forks with fat coker beck tires, classic BMW tank with a thumping airhead engine, and an exhaust system that floats beneath the seat. the bike looks good coming towards you and whilst its riding away.

the paint scheme with the ‘R3’ is certainly one of the highlights, as sinroja motorcycles was not sure how it would turn out to be. in the end it must be said that the flat baby blue with metallics black stripes turned out to be perfect.

the sinrojas settled on a decent ex-police BMW ‘R80′ for the frame to start building. the bike required a complete, back-to-the-frame strip down. its original engine didn’t provide the 1000cc they were looking for, so they repurposed the engine from a friends 1993 ‘R100 R’.

as with all of the brothers’ bikes, they all receive proper ‘sinroja treatment’ which means a full engine, gearbox, carburetor rebuild. all original electronics were recycled and replaced with brand new wiring by towza at towzatronics. on this occasion he was given plenty of motogadget goodies for fitting to the ‘R3’ like the M-unit, switches, bar-end-indicators, rear-indicator-pins, plus a keyless ignition system.
