indian bike builders moto exotica have created an one-off handcrafted motorcycle around a yamaha ‘RD350 scrambler’ they simply call ‘eight’. powered by an 125cc unmodified engine, the entire project has been custom built to handle the maximum power of the two-stroke. founder arjun raina expects the 95 kilogram frame to make speeds of up to 200 km/h.

the suspension system has been set to a softer setting for a better ride quality on gravel and dirt. the rear spring has a slight angle change from the original ‘scrambler’ to enable a little more travel while off-roading. the adapted machined swing-arms make the moto exotica bike longer to compensate for the resulting lift of the front wheel. the two exhaust pipes are unconventional made from 45 different stainless steel sections welded together for superior performance. moto-exotica-yamaha-RD350-scrambler-designboom-07
