born whilst designing piece’s for a children’s game, ‘#zero’ quickly became an effort of its own. created by milanese studio NVDRS, the project is composed of resin-based designer toys. standing at 9cm (3.5”) each, the small figurines consist of interchangeable face, body, and base with accessories available through creativity and 3D printing.

for this year’s milan design week, NVDRS held an exhibition at 150UP. the studio asked designers, graphic artists, and illustrators to customize their own ‘#zero’ toy. included in the show are works by lanzavecchia + wai, elena salmistraro, mibramig, sovrappensiero design studio, philippe tabet, sakka, superultrablu, federica marziale, davide pagliardini, marlen mckey, alberto becherini, sopa design studio, giovanni carati, francesco poroli, and johnny cobalto. ‘#zero’ toys are available through NVDRS in six combinable colors.
