marble in the home and kitchen is nothing new. as a natural material it is highly durable, easy to maintain, and is by nature cool to the touch. but lindvall’s material choice is more than practical. the designer explains, ‘marble has a calm, soothing psychological quality I find very attractive. it also has a sense of presence and provenance characteristic of natural materials.’ ballingslöv is one of leading manufacturers of kitchen and bathroom furnishings, and storage systems, in scandinavia. the concept is the latest collaboration between the company and lindvall, marking a working relationship of nearly 15 years.
