The beach is the ideal place to relax amidst the summer heat. Yet, somehow, people can never seem to fully enjoy a day at the beach due to nagging concerns over the potential loss of personal belongings. To solve this problem, we designed a locker specifically for use at the beach that features an anti-theft combination key lock so that people can just focus on having a good time. Able to fit easily into a car, they are perfect for family outings to the beach. Furthermore, a specially designed opening in the locker can be used for storing lengthier objects, such as a parasol. The bottom column features a spiral design so the locker can be secured by screwing it into the sand. In addition, its top cover can also serve as a tabletop for picnics. We plan to include an emergency equipment feature to the locker as well as establish locker rental solutions. This way, people can enjoy a day at the beach, without having to deal with rental shops, whose sales tactics are often too aggressive. In terms of safety, not all beaches have lifeguards. With our emergency equipment feature, equipment required for conducting a rescue operation is available to anyone. The U-box makes a day at the beach fun and hassle free!
