asuka saito — founder of blooming flavors — is a japenese designer currently based in san francisco, california. her works often draw from forms found in nature, and views them as constant symbols of timeless beauty. ‘nature-scape’ is a series of tiny, terrariums that can be worn on the hand or neck. they’re meant to serve as a reminder to the wearer of the unbreakable bond between the natural world, and their well-being. this connection, often forgotten or displaced in today’s digital society, is meant to strengthen the relationship between individual and earth.
