copenhagen-based designer patso dimitrov has imagined ‘nike basketball X classic album covers’, bringing together motifs, symbols and colors related to classic cover artwork with popular sports kicks. the series includes pink floyd KD8: dark side of the moon; joy division lebron 12 low: unknown pleasures; daft punk hyperchase: alive; a tribe called quest kyrie 1: low end theory; and guns n’ roses kobe x: appetite for destruction. stitching, patterned insoles, and customized colorways add to the unique character of each of shoe, offering a clear and distinct reference to the album, and the style of music it defines.
