AK-A architects immerses diners with greenery in 48 urban garden

located in athens, 48 urban garden is a restaurant by AK-A architects. found on the the ground floor of an arts center, the whimsical restaurant space focuses on a large, outdoor dining space which has been decked, landscaped with multi-level seating, bar tables and decorated with flower beds, herbs and fruits. surrounded by greenery, diners are encourage to meander through this garden space, exuding a relaxed, rustic and casual dining experience.
the interiors spill onto an outdoor decking area
internally, the outdoor theme has translated into the double height sheltered areas. furnished with picnic-inspired tables and chairs, the kitchen is based inside a trailer. a green and fresh color palette has been used throughout with timber accents and walls have been covered with artificial ivy.
