drawing influence from the unfeasible geometry of M.C. escher’s impossible cube, designer sebastiano tosi created the ‘illusioni table’. the tables, made for mogg design, reflect the same illusion, with glass cubes that appear to float in zero gravity. the metal frame guarantees a small vision of the mostly-transparent framework, allowing for an atmosphere that is light, and simple but not entirely invisible. the solution overcomes a seemingly nonviable task in a tangible, comprehendible way.
