ajust by selma durand makes it easier to find the perfect shoe online

online shopping has exploded in the past decade due to society’s heavy investment into internet transactions. for small boutiques, locations where rent is too high to justify a storefront, or for large brands that want to extend their reach, online shops are more efficient and relatively simple to manage. however, the rapidly growing market still has some short-falls. how can the user experience be improved?

simply print the shoe template

one answer, would be ‘ajust’ a printable template by industrial designer selma durand. the service enables user’s to accurately measure their feet–ajust is currently exclusively for shoe shopping–increasing user satisfaction, and reducing the number of returned items.

to use, simply print the template for the desired shoe–each shoe has a unique template–on an A4 sheet of paper. then, cut along the dotted lines and place under foot. lines on the page measure length and width, while the cut strip measures height (instep) by wrapping over the top of the foot. once measured, select the proper size and buy away!
