the ‘pamoto candleholder’ by tel-aviv based designers dor tal and ofer berman, incorporates a modern interpretation for the use of clamps by applying them to fix lights in place. sourcing their idea from when they visited an old hardware store, located in the israeli city, the design integrates the craftsman tool with an elegant and smoothly finished accessory. the clamp fixes the holder to a surface such as a table, to create an interesting interaction that bonds multiple textures, materials and colors.
