you can order a pizza with practically any topping these days, but pineapples and hot dogs are no match for the crazy concoctions dreamed up by a parisian design studio.
blackpizza pays tribute to one of the world’s most popular eats with an experimental food art photography series called ‘pizza is the new black’. each of the 11, undoubtedly inedible pies are expressed in their name and composition, while revolving around a particular theme. ‘white mystery’, ‘brown sugar’, ‘pink lady’ and simply ‘WTF’ entitle the doughy medleys, encompassing everything from crabs to lipstick. food stylist julie basset and photographer erwan fichou collaborated in creating these colorful compositions, outrageous in their ingredient use and image.
