the bentley ‘grand convertible’ redefines the experience of open-air driving by merging powerful capabilities with pure british automobile style and luxury. the car was developed to signify the company’s intentions for the future and by sitting alongside the new ‘mulsanne speed sedan‘ at the los angeles auto show 2014 from the 19th november, their latest and most advanced models to date showcases their ambitions. featuring the same 6L twin-turbo V8 engine as the ‘mulsanne’, the vehicle is their most powerful open-top as it delivers 530 break-horsepower and 1,100 Nm of torque.

as well as the effortless performance, the bentley ‘grand convertible’ is matched in style because of its hand-polished silver liquid metal finish to the bonnet and windscreen, and the sequin blue color to the right and left sides. the interior also reflects this elegance and the abilities of the motor company’s craftsmen with the progressive-diamond quilted, naturally tanned leather hides that are used for the seats and doors. the light hide which has sequin blue thread cross-stitched through, contrasts with the beluga leather around the top of the doors and extends to the rear. at the back, the tonneau represents automotive tailoring to its highest with the hand-applied book-matched, mirror-finished and dark-stained burr walnut wood veneer.
