The very beginning of the story started fifteen years ago. Zhiyan saw her grandma put a very precious ancient handmade woodcarving outside in her garden. The carving was delicate, and had countless tiny details. She asked her grandmother why she did not put it inside the house and protect it. Her grandmother smiled, but didn’t say anything at that moment.
Later, it was an afternoon and the rain had just stopped. Zhiyan saw several raindrops dripping from the leaves above onto the carving, sunshine shined over the garden through thick clouds. She realized this carving was an untraditional masterpiece that actually did belong here, not in a glass box or in a house/ museum. Standing beside Zhiyan, grandma said gently, “I tried to put this design piece where it belongs. See? It is breathing.”

This always motivates Zhiyan to design something and create user-environment for designs.

For years, people have been receiving senses from the designs/ products in different ways – visual, sound, etc. It is the time to bring up the idea of “making your design feel good”. Make a sense of belonging for designs. Let the design receive the senses from the user-design integration.

This design “Fusion” expresses a new idea of integrating users and the water bottle in a completely new way.
The bottle design hasn’t changed much for decades. And the way people carry water bottles has kept in similar ways for decades as well.
However, this new way of carrying water bottles offers users to be a part of the design itself and offers product the opportunity to interact with users.
