• Senses are intrinsic to life: they are what allow us to perceive the world. But in the contemporary society, because of haze, sand storms and other kind of pollutions, people choose to put on masks, sun glasses to get rid of pollutions, which partially shuts down our sensation system. Six senses are incomplete. Therefore, urban residents escape from cities and try to find back the lost sensorial experience in the rural and scenic areas.

• But the matter goes from one extreme to the other when we try to re-open the sensation system. In some outdoor scenic spots, we have to make effort to walk against the wind. And the excessive wind speeds makes us cannot focus on the beautiful scenery before our eyes. Again, we put on masks and glasses, as what we did in the city, which brings the other kind of lack of sense. And we deviate from the original intention of why we come here.

• Wind, as one of the most common natural elements, arouses our sense of vision, sense of hearing, even the sense of smell. Therefore, our design tries to adjust wind with a possibly minimum intervention.We come up with our solution "WIND ABSORBER." By transforming the wind energy to the kinetic energy applied on the louver, the project works as a switch adjusting those excessive winds to a proper level for people. Also, by using reflective material, the installation with louver will be partially hidden in the natural.
