designer's own words:

Kimono is a Poltrona indoor inspired as its name says in the kimono ,Japanese traditional clothing, which is characterized by its elegant forms and colors that is used by men and women. Taking into account the importance of the garment and the cultural importance for Japan, and history for the world, we have created the Poltrona according to the classic design of the kimono but adapted to the modern design, covers only materials and high quality products. Reflects the respect, elegance and grandeur of the designs of the traditional Japanese kimono, and seeks to do this to transcend other areas in the daily life, for which we have always present the culture, history, and wealth of Japan.
As beginnig of the design was used as a reference a Japanese kimono, seen from the back, and an analysis of the shapes and parts basic abstraction, Finally i got the final design, simulating the design of the kimono from a top view.
Organic design: Arms, foot rests and central body molded plywood, covered with foam curing cold (high density) and upholstered with fabric or leather, hand-embroidered in gold thread or cloth stamped. This process is most artisanal style.
This design may also be reproduced in polyurethane foam of high density and tube cold rolled with different assembly specifications to reduce costs of production, with similar results. In this case the internal structure will be in 18 gauge tube, kingdom by welding, the seat is a complete part which is resting on the arms, is coated with polyurethane foam and subsequently is lined in fabric or leather. The arms are linked with the body of the chair, with through bolts , which are inserted in holes made in the pipes and the foam.
They can be produced in different colors and patterns.
