envisioned as a medical facility and international clinic for patients to experience peace rather than fear, architect vasily klyukin has conceived the ‘white sails hospital & spa’ for tunisia economic city (TEC), a planned beach front urban project and mega-metropolis. a mammoth, ship-shaped structure spans across the site, with four towering ‘sails’ accommodating labs, preventive care centers and a wellness spa. ‘we would like to build the world’s first hospital, which no one will be afraid to visit‘ klyukin describes, ‘I will fly into space next year. my health condition has to be checked every six months. that is why I know this feeling very well. every time I’m approaching the white building of the clinic, I don’t feel any joy, but I would like to show a hospital where there is no room for fear.’
