‘the kick’ by rift labs

norwegian based studio rift labs have designed ‘the kick’, a portable photo/video light system for smart phones and SLRs. the light includes a variety of light effects and creative features that allow for adjustable color temperature, coloured light, animated light, built-in light effects and streaming of light from existing videos for use in your own small scale film production. one of the special features also allows you to illuminate certain colours such as those in a campfire by simulating the light output of a chosen movie. combining integrated wifi, the system can be fully controlled through a smartphone for easy use.
