Remora Socks for wakeboard by SARAHUANG from china

The project is inspired by Remora which is a special and ancient sea animal to me. Its unique suction structure attracts me. Since I believe we should learn from nature to solve some problems, my favorite Remora is used. Also, some of my friends recently join wakeboard activities, but they said shoes of wakeboard is too bulky. Disrupt design for wakeboard is needed. As the result, I use the suction structure of Remora to combine the swimming socks in order to replace the wakwboard shoes. Wakeboard shoes are attached on the wakeboard. The suction feature of the socks can act the same purpose. The socks are divided into 2 parts, one is silicone/ rubber made for suction feature. Another part is elastic swimming material. The users can feel the most comfortable and flexible surfing style and enhance performance of the sport. Ultrasonic welding can be used to fuse 2 parts.
