I wanted to design a watch that stood apart from watches currently available. The theme i wanted to convey was one of the extreme athlete. I also wanted the design to have an organic as well as industrial feel. I chose a spine for the theme and the time is displayed to mimic the bone marrow. Time is read like this. The outside circle of lights represent hours. The middle circle of lights represent minutes in groups of 5, and the most inner circle lights each represent a single minute. The time displayed currently is 12:48. I can imagine animation patterns available that would look like the circulation of blood.
