based on the natural position of the arm while sitting, dutch designer khodi feiz of feiz design studio has developed the ‘bras sofa’ for artifort. the faceted corners are angled along the edge to follow the contour of the human body, increasing the ease at which one can relax in the chair. the piece of furniture has an inviting embrace with its rounded form, which allows one to sit in a flexible and more casual manner. a construction system was developed that enables the seat, backrest and armrests to work independently. there are a variety of different furnishings available for the fabric, as well as a choice between wooden or powder-coated steel legs.
