the ‘reflection collection’ by dutch design studio lucas en lucas is a range of interior objects that invite one to look at things from a different perspective. the series consists of three different floor lamps, three chairs and one standing mirror – all produced as limited editions. ‘standing reflection’ is a hybrid ladder that helps in trying on and seeing clothes, with an integrated mirrored block and wooden staircase that balance each other. the two objects can be fitted together to become a full-length standing-mirror, while the frame serves as a place to hang items.

the dimensions of the block are 380 x 200 x 1600 mm (approx. 15″ x 8″ x 63″) and it is completely covered with a faceted mirror, reflecting the surrounding environment off it from every angle. the other materials used in the standing reflection are oak and stainless steel.
