german industrial designer nils holger moormann designed ‘twingo reading room’ to recreate a comfortable home space, complete with sofa, bookshelf, fireplace, and newspaper rack. ‘you can enjoy driving but you can even enjoy traffic problems: to be in a car and not lose your time but spend the time with a good book. of course it’s humourous– it’s ironic a little bit– but it makes sense to make a car a little bit like a second home.‘

the vehicle’s trunk features a picnic-basket-like array of cups, a tea kettle, tea bags, and towels.
