invented by elian veltman of minute cycles, the ‘minute’, pronounced in the french way is a strong, compact and agile city bike. the small commuter has remarkably tiny wheels and a durable steel frame. based on the idea of the mini velo, which is immensely popular in asia, ‘the minute’ is built to last a lifetime. the proportions of the handmade vehicle enable it to be lighter and more ergonomic for riding, while still being able to pick up significant speed levels.

the bicycle  comes in a men’s and women’s model, both equipped with a duomatic system with two gears and a coaster brake. at the front end, a sleek and practical mounted rack has an integrated bungee cord attached, so one can secure a bag on while commuting. the first hundred bicycles are offered in pre-sale as a limited edition, uniquely numbered and finished with stainless steel fenders and a brooks saddle.
