the brightness of a diamond enshrined in the ephemeral shake of a crystal cocoon: meet ‘spirit’, a homage to blaise pascal’s esprit de géométrie and esprit de finesse. developed by italian designer marco acerbis for vistosi, the suspension lamp mimics the effects of refraction and reflection, in order to pursue a delicate light flow. for its construction, the pendant combines geometric lines to enhance the warmth and the transparency of the glass with an innovative crystal blend. in a few precise movements, master venetian glass blowers transform a glass pipe into a drop, inserted through a structure made out of descending and sinuous spirals.
