earlier this week designboom featured the headquarters of san francisco-based social media network instagram. today, the company has introduced ‘instagram direct’, an extension to the photo sharing platform that allows users to capture photos and share videos with friends. with the new feature, you’ll now be able to find out who’s seen your photo or video, see who’s liked it and watch your followers commenting in real time. instagram direct for iOS version 5.0 is available for download in apple’s app store, and for android version 5.0 is available on google play.
