FUTURISTIC UNDERWATER COLUMBARIUM BUILDING by KMeri from armenia

It is not a secret that nowadays the population of the Earth is growing faster and faster. Therefore, “the dead land» area becomes smaller and smaller causing land shortage. It becomes very necessary for us to care for future and find alternative solutions. A good solution to the problem, in my opinion, could be the usage of water areas.
My offer is to build a futuristic underwater columbarium. The whole building includes 125,000 columbarium niches the biggest part of them (120,000 niches) situated in the underwater 30 floors. The rest (5,000 niches) is situated on the ground storey on the water area. There are 2 café-restaurants and 1 concert hall on the ground floor. The roof of the building is covered with solar panels to provide electricity in the building. In the center of the same storey is the memorial fire with four couple elevators around. Each underwater storey has four halls divided from each other by columbarium walls. The building is decorated with a lot of green areas that make it more alive.
