Ghost pendant lamp by Nanu Al-Hamad from usa
designer's own words:
Ghost is a piece designed and manufactured in Brooklyn, New York as part of a new series of reconsidered lighting. The piece lends its function to both day and night. While turned off, it spherically mirrors a 360º view of the room it hangs in; then at the flick of a switch, it transforms: the mirror vanishes and a floating, glowing lightbulb appears inside. This functional duality allows for the piece to be effectively active even when it is off, rather than solely being dormant, stating that our products can serve a purpose when not in use. Ghost is intended to bring affordability and accessibility to interactive design.
