concrete la chaise d’hauteville by ateliers HLB + julie legros

informed by an old 1950’s chair found in a dusty attic, the ‘chaise d’hauteville’ by ateliers HLB and julie legros comes alive as an experiment with concrete used in furniture. thin but strong, a re-bar structure hidden in the chair’s fiberglass back-plate provides added structural support. the piece weighs 9kg and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
