richard lampert alu alu wall clock: deeply embossed in thick aluminum, the ‘alu alu’ wall clock by richard lampert is reduced to its essentials; a quartz mechanical movement, hour, minute and hour hands with a classic name plate. a normal typology is conceived in the timepiece with classic optional primary colors– white, black, brushed aluminum, red and yellow gives the original clock from 1979 by industrial designer jochen gros an authentic charm. in 2012, designer alexander seifried added pastel flavor to the collection, resulting in four additional colorways–each complemented by contrasting mechanical components.
