the window display for the elttob tep issey miyake / ginza storefront by tokyo-based creative studio drawing and manual in collaboration with fablab shibuya implements a folded structure that floats at the center of the installation. the programmed lighting system utilizes a number of fluorescent tubes from many different angles, emphasizing the complexity of the structure by creating different shades from moment to moment. like with the last window display in 2012, the production process incorporates a mix of technology and craftsmanship techniques – digitally manufactured with a laser cutter and arduino programming.
