designed and developed entirely by swiss luxury watchmaker hublot, the ‘masterpiece MP-05’ pays tribute to ‘laferrari’ – which was originally
revealed at the 2013 geneva motor show – in a demonstration and testimony that lives up to the supercar’s performance. the ‘MP-05 laferrari’
was created entirely in parallel with the hyper-car alongside the ferrari engineering teams.

equipped with a tourbillon, the hand-wound wristwatch can hold a record breaking power reserve of approximately 50 days thanks to its 11 barrels,
arranged in a line just like a spinal column and interconnected so that they do not each discharge in turn but support each other. additionally,
the timepiece integrates 637 watchmaking components – featuring a complex shaped sapphire crystal reminiscent of the car’s outline.

the ‘masterpiece MP-05’ pays tribute to ‘laferrari’

the watch is concisely thought-out in terms of form, which is reflected in its open case-back made from black PVD titanium. it is topped by
a titanium and carbon insert in its center, revealing the winding crown. positioned under the case, the time-setting crown is completely
integrated into the design, therefore practically invisible.

the movement has an original display, featuring the front vertical face with small seconds indicated by an aluminum cylinder fastened onto
the suspended tourbillon cage. the hour and minute are displayed to the right of the barrels, also indicated on anodized black aluminum cylinders.
bringing to mind ferrari’s signature color, the reinforcing bars on both sides are made from anodized red aluminum.
