after 10 years of extensive restoration, the rijksmuseum in amsterdam has finally re-opened its doors to the public. for this celebratory occasion, studio job was commissioned to design ‘the key moment’. queen beatrix of the netherlands was handed the large golden key to release the monumental lock–conceived by the dutch-belgian duo–to the national institution in front of thousands of onlookers on april 13th, 2013, as her last official public duty before retirement.
