For the first time, Parla joins the prestigious lineup of exhibitors at Maison&Objet Paris, the renowned international design and home décor fair running from January 16 to 20, 2025. The Palm collection – designed by French architect and designer Jean-Michel Wilmotte and initially launched in 2023 – takes center stage at Parla’s showcase, featuring an expanded selection of outdoor and indoor pieces. Known for its expertise in commercial interiors for hotels, restaurants and retail, the furniture brand also presents a curated selection of designs from both its in-house team and collaborations with José Manuel Ferrero and Cosentino.

DEBUTING EXPANDED PALM COLLECTION BY JEAN-MICHEL WILMOTTE

At the heart of Parla’s Maison&Objet 2025 showcase is the extended Palm collection, born from a collaboration with Jean-Michel Wilmotte. Developed over three years, the collection includes a range of seating options with soft forms that invite relaxation, while their sturdy construction makes them versatile for both indoor and outdoor environments. With sleek lines and deep colors such as blue, black, brown, and grey – hallmark tones of Wilmotte’s design – the furniture lineup blends materials like wood and metal, evoking contrast between raw and refined textures. The collection expands for the January 2025 fair with the introduction of bistro tables suitable for bars and restaurants in a scheme of green hues, adding a touch of warmth to commercial interiors.

Alongside the Palm collection, Parla showcases some of its most successful designs, featuring a blend of in-house creations and collaborations with renowned designers and emerging talents. Among them is Spanish designer José Manuel Ferrero, who brings the Phil collection to Parla’s lineup. Drawing inspiration from the pincushion – an iconic tool in the history of tailoring and sewing – the collection features an armchair and pouf that combine sinuous lines with functional design. Oak wood veneer bases are paired with meticulously upholstered seats, epitomizing Parla’s high manufacturing standards.

Another highlight of Parla’s Maison&Objet showcase is its collaboration with Cosentino, the Spanish family-owned company renowned for its advanced surfaces. This partnership underscores Parla’s versatile approach, blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge material technology. Select pieces from Parla’s furniture portfolio have been customized with Cosentino’s high-end surfaces, which are part of a special roadshow across Cosentino showrooms in the UK, France, Spain, and Germany.

To further celebrate this collaboration, Parla unveils a dedicated installation at Cosentino’s Paris showroom, starting January 16, 2025. This installation will be available for two months at the Cosentino City Showroom on Boulevard Malesherbes. The inauguration includes a presentation by Aysel Ilisik, Parla’s Head of Designer Relations, titled ‘Materials: The Highs & Lows. Challenges and Solutions when Designing & Manufacturing Furniture,’ offering valuable insights into the evolving landscape of material innovation in furniture design.
