Countless transformative research projects remain buried in papers, drawings, and blueprints, hidden from the public eye. These groundbreaking ideas deserve a global platform, where they can inspire and ignite change. SOCB is offering that platform through a prestigious exhibition and publication opportunity.

SOCB invites visionary talent from across the globe to shape a future of sustainable, thriving, and resilient cities, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. As a leader in research and innovation, SOCB champions ideas that can revolutionise our approach to sustainability in urban development. At this critical moment in the climate crisis, we are committed to rethinking, reimagining, and redefining our world in key areas: Product, Industrial, Innovative Material, Engineering, Technology, Construction, Architecture, Interior, Design, Heritage Documentation, Conservation, Restoration, Landscape, Environment, Preservation, Urbanism, Planning, Transportation.

This is your chance to showcase your work at an exclusive exhibition in the heart of Vienna (the world’s best city), Austria. Exceptional projects will gain global recognition, with the top 18 winning projects in exhibition and 36 shortlisted entries in total 54 projects to be published in an exclusive edition.

Selection and Jury
A distinguished jury, comprising experts from diverse fields and backgrounds, will evaluate each project. This esteemed panel will select six shortlisted projects and three winning entries across each category, celebrating groundbreaking creativity and sustainable impact.

Exhibition and Publication

Exhibition: The 18 top projects from all six categories will be showcased in the heart of Vienna, Austria, drawing global attention to the ideas shaping tomorrow.

Publication: A curated selection (Shortlist 36 + Winning 18) = 54 selected projects will be featured in a Special Issue Publication by SOCB, ensuring these transformative ideas reach an international audience through our magazine or book.

Registration

Early Registration 99 €: December 30, 2024
Regular Registration 149€: January 30, 2025
Late Registration 199€: February 28, 2025

1) Project Submission: March 15, 2025
2) Winner and Shortlist Announcement: April 30, 2025
3) Exhibition and Publication: July 28-30, 2025
4) Project must be submitted on one A2 sheet portrait (420 x 594 mm) pdf.
5) Once payment is made to SOCB you will receive a registration number.
6) Registration number must be placed on right side top corner on A2 sheet. 7)Please do not mention your name or company name on sheet (its against rules).
8) Jury decision is the final decision.

Dr Varvara Toura, Completed PhD in Urban Studies EHESS/ Géographie-Cités, Paris, France (Geography/ Urban Planning, Sociology, Political Science, Environmental Sciences, Citizen Science) Greece.
 
Ar. Rasha Sukkarieh, M.Arch, expert in Advanced Design & Digital Fabrication, Architect, Educator and Independent Researcher, The Impact Lab Beirut, Lebanon.
 
Dr. Panagiotis Papageorgiou, is a Senior Lecturer at the International College Portsmouth, and an Early Career Researcher at the University of Portsmouth. His research lies at the intersection of Digital Preservation and Virtual Heritage.
 
Ar. Sonali Dahotre, M.Arch, Landscape Architecture from CEPT University, Visiting Faculty at various Design Schools, Independent researcher, founder of Sparrow Landscape Initiative – An Ecology Based Landscape Design Practice, Pune, India.
 
Prof. Moritz Elbert, Dipl. Des. Curator and Strategic Designer, Specialist in Design, Art History, and Theory, TU München/ IUAV Venezia, Germany/Italy.
 
Dr. Aurelie De Smet, She is an expert in Spatial Planning, Bottom-Up Urban Initiatives, (Landscape) Architecture, Participatory Action Research and Cross-Sectoral Collective Learning and Knowledge Exchange. She works as a Service-Learning Facilitator at KU Leuven, Faculty of Architecture, Belgium.
 
Ar. Priya Chavan, M.Tech. expert in Architecture, Housing, and Urban Planning, PhD Scholar in Disaster Studies and Urban Affairs, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, India.
