WEGE PRIZE

An initiative of Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University, Wege Prize is an annual competition that ignites game-changing solutions.

College/university students around the world collaborate across institutional, disciplinary, and cultural boundaries to design for the circular economy.

Teams develop their ideas with feedback from experts in sustainable design, the circular economy, materials, and more, and contend for $65,000 (USD) in total cash prizes, all while learning and showing what the future of problem solving looks like.

Applications typically open August through early October with the finals event in May streamed live from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
