‘steel mesh bag’ in use

‘steel mesh bag’ by korean new york-based architecture firm mass studies (minsuk cho, kisu park, byungkyun kim) was shown in designboom’s ‘asia now‘ exhibition at dwell on design in los angeles.

the bag is constructed from a steel mesh can that can be adjusted according to how much and what you’re carrying. the loose form also allows one to store small items such as an mp3 player within the shoulder strap of the bag, altering the way it looks each time one uses it. before use the bag measures 55 x 83 cm in size. the bag is only in the prototype / concept stage.
