Studio Razavi + partners unveils housing project in Paris

Studio Razavi + Partners has designed 93 Petit, an urban residential project in Paris, France, that embraces sustainable densification. Located on a large rectangular site with the shortest side facing the street, the project aims to create a harmonious relationship with the surrounding urban fabric. The condominium building incorporates massing, inner courtyards, material selection, and window arrangement to achieve this balance. Specific site criteria and the need to maximize square footage led to a typology that adheres to zoning restrictions while offering differentiated building envelopes. This approach helps break down the overall scale of the project, making it more compatible with the adjacent urban environment.

The design prioritizes sunlight exposure and thoughtful spatial arrangement to enhance the living experience. The project consists of four building blocks: the longest runs north-south to maximize sunlight exposure from the west, while the remaining three run parallel to the street, opening to both the north and south sides. Terraces on the east side create a gentle transition to neighboring buildings, and brick facades add a tactile, intimate dimension to the design.
