with the 12th venice architecture biennale about to kick-off on august 26th, PR teams theresa simon & partners and flint public relations have developed the biennale app, designed to make the experience of navigating through the events and exhibitions running through the vernissage until the conclusion of the biennale, a lot easier.
tying in with this year’s theme – ‘people meet in architecture’ curated by kazuyo sejima of SANAA – the app will help visitors meet up with friends and colleagues, by tell users where the next event is happening.
functions of the free to download biennale app include:
where am i? a detailed city map to help you find your location, biennale venue locations and get directions. it also helps one locate museums and restaurants.
live-feed facebook-news-feed / flickr-photo-feed / twitter-timeline – constantly updating app users with news as it comes in on events and exhibition openings.
reportage take a photo of where you are, rate the event and give a sentence or two of feedback. your contribution will help build up a picture for other users as of what not to miss at the biennale.
the 2011 edition of the biennale app will be a new bespoke version to guide visitors around the 54th venice art biennale.
