the ‘giovannoni washlet’ is the result of collaboration between TOTO and stefano giovannoni, and the first example of TOTO europe’s design series. giovannoni represents an added dimension for TOTO and features TOTO’s revolutionary technological advances including tornado flush, the triple-jet rimless flushing system and CeFiONtect – the hygienic glazing for ceramic surfaces. the toilet has been designed to appeal to european bathroom tastes, with sweeping lines creating a softer silhouette.

stefano giovannoni’s interpretation has been achieved with no sacrifice of technology, and still features a self-cleaning washing wand, a heated seat, a deodorizer and remote control. also present have been TOTO’s revolutionary rimless toilet design, tornado flush and its CeFiONtect coating that keeps in mind the company’s clean technology mantra. TOTO states that giovannoni washlet captures both the essence of italian style and the sophistication of japanese bathroom culture. the washlet launched at the world’s leading design expo, milan salone internazionale del mobile.
