new zealand designer joanna campbell creates a range of jewelry using a variety of materials including metals, wood and fabrics such as silk. in her work she uses the japanese shibori and mokume gane techniques. for her ‘mokume gane rosettes’ layers of metal were fused, forged and carved and fabric was incorporated using the shibori process.
