seen earlier this year at milan design week, 5.5 designers presented their ‘cloning’ project in saint-étienne as part of the ‘flight number ten’ exhibition. the project is inspired from the medical techniques of cloning, with the aesthetic of the collection drawing from one’s body. the shapes of the objects are a result of a process which takes data from your physical characteristics such as your eye color, haircut, weight, body mensurations and transforms this personal information into objects.
