‘cocoon’ bar and lounge by FAK3

led by johnny wong and miho hirabayahi, the hong kong design group FAK3 recently finished the design of a two-storey organic fine dining restaurant called beo* (beautifully organic). for the two level interior, FAK3 designed the ‘cocoon’ bar and lounge located in the basement.  to enter, visitors descend down a stone clad staircase, led by a twisted balustrade into the white cavernous lounge area.  lit by FAK3’s ‘china dreams’ floor lamps, the space mimics a cocoon using warm, neutral tones that create a soft, relaxing feel.
