thailand-based design studio thinkk uses play as a methodology for their design process. the concept for the ‘const’ desk lamp is based on three simple elements: a base, body and shape. the components combine expression with function. the marble bottom keeps the octagon-shaped oak frame balanced, while the angle of the aluminum cover can be adjusted by simply rotating it. the ‘const’ lamp is on show at spazio rossana orlandi during milan design week 2012.
