the kentucky, USA-based agency cornett integrated marketing solutions (CIMS) has created an advertising campaign for canadian hunter whiskey. the first two ads in the series feature a man on a hunting trip, presumably in the canadian wilderness, overcoming vicious creatures of the woods with his physical strength and wit. the burly ‘canadian hunter’ protagonist and his two faithful canine companions defy death in two encounters– one with a buck and the other with a bear. the images speak of the 1950’s and 60’s covers of ‘stag magazine’, ‘man’s life’, ‘man’s action’, and ‘true adventure’.
